Laura received her BSN and RN from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX.  She also studied at Focus on the Family Institue in Colorado Springs, CO.

Before moving to San Angelo, she worked Scott & White Memorial Hospital and Veteran's Affairs hospital in Temple, TX.  In addition to HOSA, she works in the nursery at Shannon Women's & Children's. 

Laura still sings in various choirs and was a member of Texas Baptist All-State Choir and Student Senate.
