Holly received her RN and an Associate in Applied Science in 1997 and a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing 2002. 

She obtained National Cerification in Pediatrics from Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses (CPN) in 2002.  Pediatric Hospice Training with Houston Hospice/Texas Children's in Houston 2002. 

She is a Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instrctor (PALS), certified in Emergency Nursing Pediatic Currriculum (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Neonatal Resuscitation Protocols (NRP), STABLE respiratory distress of infants and children protocols, EKG certification, chemotherapy certified for pediatric oncology, and CPR. 

In addition to being the HOSA pediatric nurse, she is the nurse manager at Shannon Pediatrics. 

She is involved with Leadership San Angelo, Right Choices for Youth, Child Abuse Prevention Coalition, Shared Governance (SMC) chair, Childhood Asthma Coalition, 100,000 Lives Campaign, Prevention of Central Line Infections, Childrens Hospice International.

She is a member of Texas Perinatal Association, Society of Pediatric Nurses, Children's Hospice & Palliative Care Organization.
