David received his BS in Psychology from Abilene Christian University and his MS in Psychology from Texas A&M Commerce.

He is a licensed marriage & family therapist with more than 30 years in health care and hospital administration.  He has been with HOSA since 1992.

David has served on the Board of Directors for the United Way, Child Welfare Board, Area Agency on Aging, and the First United Methodist Church. 

He served on the Board of Directors Texas New Mexico Hospice Organization 1997-2004 and was President 2003.  The Texas Non Profit Hospice Alliance from 1998 until the present, National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization and a member of the Ethics Committee.  David was named the TNMHO Director of the Year in 2004.

He a member of the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization, Texas New Mexico Hospice Organization, and Texas Non Profit Hospice Alliance.
