Inger McManus, director of the Building Bridges children's bereavement program at Hospice of San Angelo, received the Bereavement Counselor of the Year award Friday from the Texas & New Mexico Hospice Organization at the group's annual meeting in Dallas.  The Building Bridges program offers support, education and comfort to children who have been affected by the death of a family member or other loved one.
